Cyber Security Engineer (NV1)
Location: Melbourne OR Canberra
- 12-month initial contract with extension options
- NV1 requirement
- Strong experience with Assessment, Risk identification, Advisory & stakeholder management
About you:
- Demonstrated qualifications and/or professional experience assessed as suitable for eligibility to obtain DCIAB –CSAA endorsement as a Cyber Security Assessor, including (but not limited to) CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, and IRAP accreditation
- Knowledge/experience of radio and satellite communication systems/applications and/or Defence specific systems/applications
- Ability to work in a team
- Understanding of modern networking, computers and operating systems
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive industry and specialty experience in Cybersecurity within communications (radio and satellite)
- Strong understanding of ICT architectures, networks, platforms, cyber/security compliance and governance within the Defence environment
- Comprehensive understanding of Defence systems
- Previous Defence, Army or CASG experience
- Experience in assessing and evaluating risk
- Demonstrates creativity and innovation in applying solutions for the benefit of the customer/stakeholder.
