Senior Threat & Vulnerability Engineer | Remote (UK) | Cloud-Native SaaS

I'm currently working with a fast-growing cloud-native SaaS business that's investing heavily in its cyber security capability as it continues to scale internationally.

They're looking for a Senior Threat & Vulnerability Engineer to own and evolve their threat intelligence and vulnerability management capability, helping to protect a modern cloud-native platform while working closely with engineering teams to drive remediation and improve security maturity.

This is a highly technical role with genuine influence across the organisation, combining threat intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response and secure design.

What you'll be working on:

• Owning the end-to-end vulnerability management programme
• Interpreting and communicating threat intelligence to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Conducting technical threat and vulnerability assessments across cloud infrastructure and SaaS applications
• Threat modelling using frameworks such as STRIDE, PASTA or DREAD
• Supporting incident response and improving security processes
• Partnering with engineering teams to prioritise and drive remediation
• Horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and strengthen the organisation's security posture

We're looking for someone with experience in:

• Threat intelligence and vulnerability management
• Threat modelling and security assessments
• Cloud and SaaS security
• Security incident response
• Communicating technical risk to engineering and business stakeholders
• Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) and secure-by-design principles

This is a fully remote UK position within a modern engineering organisation where security is embedded into product development. You'll have the opportunity to shape security strategy, influence engineering decisions and work on a platform that's continuing to scale globally.
