Application Security Coordinator [he/she] - Gdansk, Poland

We're currently looking for a candidate for our client in the banking industry industry. Application Security Coordinator responsible for coordinating the handling of security vulnerabilities identified through penetration tests and vulnerability scans. The role focuses on analysing findings, assessing risk, prioritising remediation activities, and collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to reduce security risks across applications and infrastructure. Work model: 3/2 hybrid in one of the following cities: Warsaw, Gdynia, Gdańsk, Łódź

Salary offered

125 - 140pln net + VAT MD on B2B

You will be successful in this role if:

• Strong understanding of application and infrastructure security concepts.
• Experience with vulnerability management processes.
• Ability to interpret penetration testing reports and vulnerability scan outputs.
• Knowledge of CVE, CWE, and CVSS standards.
• Ability to assess security risks and prioritise remediation activities.
• Experience coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders and teams.
• Ability to drive remediation activities in a structured manner.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex security topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with Jira.

• Coordinate the handling of security testing outcomes, including penetration test findings and vulnerability scan results.
• Analyse security reports and identify areas requiring remediation activities.
• Assess security risks and prioritise vulnerabilities based on impact and severity.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to plan and drive remediation activities.
• Monitor remediation progress and support timely resolution of identified vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support governance activities, reporting, and compliance with internal security standards and external regulations.
• Use task management tools, such as Jira, to track and coordinate security-related activities.
