DefectDojo is the leading open-source vulnerability management and DevSecOps platform, trusted by security teams worldwide. We are growing fast, and we are hiring a pre-sales Solutions Architect to be the technical partner to our sales team and a trusted advisor to the security teams evaluating us.

You are the technical voice in the sales cycle. You run demos and proof-of-concept deployments, answer the hard architecture and security questions, and show CISOs, AppSec leads, and DevSecOps teams how DefectDojo fits their stack. You partner closely with our account executives and report into sales leadership.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼

- Partner with account executives as the technical lead through the sales cycle

- Run product demos and scope proof-of-concept deployments that map to each customer's stack

- Answer the deep technical, architecture, and security questions from CISOs, AppSec leads, and DevSecOps teams

- Show how DefectDojo connects to a customer's scanners and CI/CD pipelines

- Lead technical evaluations and respond to security reviews and questionnaires

- Bring field insight back to product to help shape the roadmap

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲'𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱

- Hands-on application security experience, such as running SAST, DAST, SCA, or vulnerability management in practice

- Pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions consulting experience, or strong technical experience you can bring into a sales setting

- Working knowledge of the DevSecOps toolchain and the software development lifecycle

- Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

- Experience with Claude and Claude Code

- Confidence presenting to technical buyers, from practitioners to CISOs

- A customer-first mindset

- Comfort working independently and managing your own time in a remote role

𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲

- Experience with DefectDojo or other ASPM or vulnerability management tools

- Scripting in Python or a similar language

- Fluency in an additional language besides English, such as Arabic, French, or German
