Contract (1+years) | Houston, TX 77002 | 100% Onsite
Pay Rate: $100-$125/HR W-2
We are seeking an experienced IT Security & Cloud Project Manager to lead enterprise cloud security and compliance initiatives supporting a large-scale cloud transformation program. This role will oversee multiple technical projects focused on cloud migration, security architecture, governance, and compliance while coordinating cross-functional teams across Infrastructure, Applications, Security, Data, and Business groups.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise IT security and cloud projects from planning through deployment and production support.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, resources, vendors, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to successfully implement secure cloud solutions.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Partner with infrastructure, security, application, and business teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Provide executive-level project status reporting, risk mitigation, and resource planning.
- Drive projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT Project Management experience focused on Security & Compliance.
- 5+ additional years of IT infrastructure or technology experience.
- Must have experience leading production cloud implementations or migrations (Azure and/or AWS). Candidates with only proof-of-concept or pilot project experience will not be considered.
- Strong understanding of cloud security concepts including IAM, encryption, network security, cloud architecture, risk management, threat modeling, and defense-in-depth.
- Experience implementing and securing cloud environments.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and cloud delivery methodologies.
- Experience managing multiple enterprise-level technical projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, or other cybersecurity certifications
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or Monday.com
- Experience working in large enterprise environments with complex infrastructure and security programs
