Penetration Tester

Ready to Do Real Penetration Testing?
The Opportunity:
A lot of penetration testing roles look good on paper, then turn out to be vulnerability scanning with a fancier job title. This one is different. You'll be running end-to-end engagements, working in an environment where cybersecurity isn't a tick-box exercise but a genuine business priority, and where your findings will actually drive change.
If you're technically strong, self-directed, and want a role with real scope and flexibility, this is worth reading on.
The Role:
You'll take ownership of penetration testing engagements from planning through to reporting, covering a range of systems and environments. Day to day that means assessing findings, identifying risks, and translating complex technical detail into clear, actionable output for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Beyond the core testing work, you'll contribute to vulnerability scanning, support the organisation's bug bounty programme, and act as the go-to point of contact for penetration testing matters. When issues are found, you'll stay involved through remediation, not just hand over a report and move on.
The Company:
This is a well-established organisation with a mature, high-performing security function. Cybersecurity has genuine leadership buy-in here, which means the resource, the mandate, and the respect that offensive security teams don't always get. The role is predominantly remote, with some flexibility around the Frankfurt area when needed.
What You'll Need:
- 3+ years of hands-on penetration testing experience.
- A solid understanding of the cyber threat landscape, common vulnerabilities, and attack methodologies.
- The ability to produce clear, professional reports and communicate findings to a range of audiences.
- Relevant certification such as OSCP, GPEN, CEH, or CompTIA PenTest+.
- Strong English communication skills.
