What you will do:
As the Information Security Compliance Senior Specialist for Customer Audits, you will oversee audit fieldwork with external customer auditors and contribute to customer security audits in collaboration with SAP's various lines of business. You will communicate project status effectively to senior management and stakeholders, share your knowledge and experience with the team, and help document and mitigate any identified findings and potential risks. The Role
- Lead audit fieldwork with external customer auditors using appropriate auditing methods while leveraging existing documentation (i.e. Standards, procedures, Walkthrough decks, etc.) evidences and/or obtain new documentation to meet customer’s compliance and regulatory demands.
- Align customer requirements with internal constraints to provide transparency on SAP`s security posture to our customers while safeguarding our confidential information as well as devising alternative solutions to provide assurance where needed.
- Clearly communicate project status and results with senior management, project team, and stakeholders. Develop clear communication channels and direction among cross-functional teams.
- Assist with continuous evaluation and upgrading of operational policies, procedures and customer auditing best practices.
- Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to constructively influence audit planning and execution.
- Work with SAP Lines of Business to implement and remediate recommended solutions for mitigation and improvement.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6+ years of experience in program or project management, audit compliance specific to Risk, Compliance, and Security (ITGC controls preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in leading audit projects and working with Financial Services.
- Experience with regulatory intake process, performing regulatory compliance analysis and control mapping for the sub-regions under ownership when there are new regulations or changes to existing regulations.
- Experience with DORA, ISO 27k family, SOC, PCI DSS, FedRAMP, CSA Star or equivalent information security and privacy compliance certifications.
- Experience translating compliance requirements into operational and technical control objectives.
- Proven track record of managing globally dispersed groups of internal and external stakeholders as well as experience in expectation management.
- Demonstrated written and verbal fluency in German, enabling effective communication in business settings.
- Based out of Walldorf or Frankfurt, Germany
