Technical Expert IAM (w/m/d) - 885079/1

For our client, a leading company in the energy sector, we are looking for an experienced IAM Technical Expert to support a strategic Identity & Access Management transformation program.

Location: Lausanne (preferred) or Olten

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Contractor via Hays or Freelance

Duration: Until 31.12.2026, with a high likelihood of extension

Work Model: Hybrid (up to 2 days remote per week)

Your Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an inventory of applications managed by the IAM platform
• Identify applications not integrated into IAM processes and define onboarding and remediation plans
• Assess application access management maturity and identify gaps in provisioning, deprovisioning, authentication, and authorization
• Evaluate application authentication methods and identify opportunities for SSO, federation, MFA, and Microsoft Entra ID integration
• Support application discovery initiatives to identify unmanaged or locally managed applications
• Integrate applications with the IAM platform and Microsoft Entra ID in collaboration with the IAM team
• Contribute to improving access governance and application security across the enterprise

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field
• Proven experience implementing and supporting IAM solutions in enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience integrating business applications with IAM platforms
• Experience with automated provisioning and deprovisioning processes
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, MFA, federation technologies (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect)
• Experience assessing authentication and authorization architectures
• Solid understanding of RBAC, access provisioning, and identity lifecycle management
• Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, SCIM, REST APIs, and identity standards
• Experience with PowerShell, scripting, or automation tools is considered a plus
• Fluent English is required; German and/or French are an advantage
