Position overview
We are looking for a Security Operations Engineer (CyberArk) to join our team in collaboration with one of our clients, a multinational professional services brand of firms, the second-largest professional services network in the world, considered one of the Big Four accounting firms. Our client is present in more than 157 countries across 742 locations around the world.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing Level 2 technical support, incident management, and operational excellence for client CyberArk-based PAM infrastructure supporting a global organization.
Also, you will handle incident triage and resolution, support platform maintenance and disaster recovery activities, manage privileged account onboarding and access controls, and collaborate effectively with Engineering, Application, and Infrastructure teams across all organizational levels.
Responsibilities
Incident Management & Troubleshooting
- Perform L2 triage, troubleshooting, and resolution for CyberArk and PAM-related incidents.
- Diagnose and resolve authentication failures, credential delivery issues, and account reconciliation problems.
- Escalate complex technical issues and suspected platform defects to L3 support and engineering teams.
- Maintain incident response SLAs and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Document lessons learned and contribute to resolution knowledge base.
Platform Support & Maintenance
- Provide technical support across all CyberArk components including Enterprise Password Vault (EPV), Central Policy Manager (CPM), Password Vault Web Access (PVWA), Privileged Session Manager (PSM), Central Credential Provider (CCP), and PAM Microservices.
- Troubleshoot issues across DEV, TST, and PRD environments.
- Support disaster recovery testing and validation of backup/recovery procedures.
- Participate in platform maintenance windows and change management activities.
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and runbooks.
- Monitor infrastructure and platform health using enterprise monitoring and logging tools.
Access & Credential Management
- Support privileged account onboarding and vaulting processes.
- Assist with safes management and entitlement configuration.
- Implement least privilege access controls and manage RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
- Support identity and access management activities including Entra ID/Azure AD and Active Directory integration.
- Manage and troubleshoot group-based access management strategies.
Operational Excellence & Collaboration
- Collaborate effectively with Engineering, Application, and Infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues.
- Interact professionally with internal stakeholders across all organizational levels.
- Provide clear, concise communication to global teams in high-pressure situations.
- Participate in scheduled 24x7 global on-call rotations and emergency incident response.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Participate in knowledge transfer and team training activities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT operations support, system administration, or security operations.
- Previous experience supporting CyberArk or similar PAM solutions.
- Experience with API testing and integration troubleshooting.
- Background in infrastructure security or identity governance.
- Understanding of microservices-based architecture and cloud-native deployments.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools for infrastructure and application support (Splunk, ELK, Datadog, or similar).
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows server environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting enterprise security or identity management platforms.
- Understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and least privilege principles.
- Knowledge of identity management concepts and privileged account governance.
- Familiarity with Entra ID/Azure AD and Active Directory integration.
- Experience with group-based access management strategies.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management).
- Understanding of SLA management and incident escalation procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proficient in English.
