- Analyze vulnerability trends to design out systemic risks and implement secure-by-default frameworks. Address vulnerabilities through direct code contributions, mitigations, and systemic hardening.
- Perform security design reviews for new YouTube features and distributed systems. Leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) and foundational models to identify and automate the remediation of security gaps.
- Lead the technical response and post-mortem analysis for security incidents across YouTube products.
- Research and mitigate platform-specific risks within the YouTube iOS and Android ecosystems. Review mobile application designs and code (e.g., Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin) for security vulnerabilities.
- Partner with mobile teams to integrate security tools and processes throughout the application development life-cycle.
