You'll join the JTL Security Team, a technical, developer-focused team at the heart of the company. We keep the JTL Group secure against a wide range of threats and build secure products with our development teams, on-premise and in the cloud. It's a broad, demanding field that rewards technical excellence and strategic thinking.


Your responsibilities


  • Evolve our Secure Software Development Lifecycle — from architecture through CI/CD to operations
  • Bring security into everyday development: IDE plugins, SAST, security unit tests, and golden images
  • Run threat modeling to surface risks and help teams handle them pragmatically
  • Coach developers and product owners on security, as an equal partner
  • Make security measurable, understandable, and scalable


Your profile


  • You have a degree in computer science or a comparable field
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in application security, with a focus on secure development
  • You have solid knowledge of at least one programming language, plus scripting and automation
  • You have a strong grasp of modern security standards and frameworks such as OWASP ASVS or NIST
  • You work independently and pragmatically, and can communicate complex security requirements clearly
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • You are based in Germany


Nice to have


  • Experience with Snyk or other security tools
  • The developer's perspective, backed by hands-on software development experience
  • Experience introducing RPA and GenAI solutions
  • Good German language skills
