SecOps Engineer (Threat Detection)

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP SecOps Engineer to manage enterprise-level threat detection, vulnerability monitoring, and platform security across a complex SAP landscape. This role focuses on proactive security engineering, incident response integration, and implementing SAP security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Threat Detection & Analytics: Design, configure, and optimise threat detection patterns and real-time monitoring alerts utilising platform monitoring tools.
• Vulnerability & Risk Management: Conduct routine application vulnerability scans, perform structural threat modelling, and execute comprehensive IT risk assessments.
• Technical Support & Lifecycle: Troubleshoot complex system security defects, develop bug fixes, and drive integration testing through deployment.
• Process & Enablement: Ensure strict alignment with standard ITIL frameworks and provide knowledge transfer to operational service teams.

Technical Requirements

• Min. 3 years of hands-on experience specialising in SAP vulnerability scanning, threat detection pattern creation, and alert management.
• Deep technical proficiency in Threat Modelling, IT Risk Assessments, and SAP Application Security.
• Proven background in structured software testing methodologies, troubleshooting, and multi-tiered issue resolution.
• Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills for managing technical stakeholders.
