Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Key Responsibilities:
- ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) Leadership
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and customization of the ServiceNow VR module
- Act as a technical escalation point and mentor for less experienced engineers
- Application Design & Development
- Design, build, configure, unit test, document, and maintain ServiceNow applications
- Develop workflows, scripts, and low-code / out-of-the-box solutions to automate processes
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise standards
- Platform & Integration Management
- Manage API integrations with non-ServiceNow systems (e.g., Qualys, Wiz, NVD, Blackduck, Checkmarx)
- Partner with platform engineering, production support, and architecture teams
- Support production environments as an L3 support resource
- Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, risk management, and governance requirements
- Support and implement key enterprise risk initiatives
- Collaboration & Delivery
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams, technical governance, architects, and developers
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and deliver solutions within an Agile framework
- Manage deployments and releases with enterprise platform management teams
- Maintain application documentation in Confluence

- Certifications
- ServiceNow System Administrator (required)
- ServiceNow Application Developer (required within 6 months of hire)
- Technical Skills
- Strong scripting and configuration experience in ServiceNow
- Knowledge of web-based protocols and standards
- Experience with modern development practices, testing, and CI/CD concepts
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

- Application Developer
- Implementation Specialist – Vulnerability Response
- Micro-certifications (Service Portal, ATF, Flow Designer, Integration Hub)
- Experience with AngularJS or React
