- Open to all employee types including Temporary Staff and Student Employees. Information Technology (IT) invites applications for an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst to provide configuration, coordination, and analysis in support of the University’s IAM infrastructure.
- Administer and support Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms, including Microsoft Entra ID, account provisioning, single sign-on (SSO), and identity synchronization
- Configure and maintain access management policies, including multifactor authentication (MFA), role-based access, and account lifecycle management
- Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to support identity reconciliation, provisioning, and data integrity across enterprise systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve identity, authentication, provisioning, and access-related issues to ensure accurate and secure user account management
- Coordinate the testing, implementation, and maintenance of IAM solutions in collaboration with technical teams and system owners
- Partner with campus departments to evaluate business needs, improve IAM processes, and maintain documentation for system configurations and workflows
- Support institutional security and compliance efforts by collaborating on risk assessments, audits, and adherence to identity and access management standards
- Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of IAM concepts, and platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD, Active Directory, OpenLDAP, or similar systems
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues in user identity, access provisioning, or authentication workflows
- Ability to gather requirements, communicate effectively, and coordinate solutions with both technical and non-technical staff
- Familiarity with Python
- Familiarity with SQL
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
- Experience supporting IAM systems in a higher education environment
- Applied experience working with Microsoft Entra ID
- Familiarity with the InCommon Federation
- Experience with Ellucian Banner
- Experience writing and maintaining Python and SQL scripts to support automation, data reconciliation, and reporting
- Industry certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, CISSP) is desirable

Compensation Title: Computer Systems Analyst II
Bargaining Unit: FOCUS-MFPE
Work Schedule: Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 Hours a week), Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, flex for special projects, 12 months/year
Probationary Period: Six (6) months minimum
