Application Security Engineer

Your new role

You will contribute to strengthening the application security framework. You will be improving processes for secure development within Dalux, spreading awareness, and increasing the security of the software that is developed in Dalux.

Responsibilities

Security reviews in collaboration with internal development teams

• Design review in development projects
• Code review in internal development teams

Participating in maturing the development organization in Dalux, projects could include

• Improving secrets management
• Improving patch management
• Improving security of package distribution

Logging and monitoring from Dalux developed products

• Enriching and centralizing the monitoring systems
• Facilitating corrective actions from findings

Security scanning of Dalux software

• Improving DAST/SAST/Pen testing/Vulnerability scans as part of the development process o Assist development teams in solving problems

Your background

We expect that you have a solid foundation in cyber security.

Need To Have Skills

• Cyber security experience in development heavy organizations.
• Experience with web application vulnerabilities, OWASP and best practices
• Ability to collaborate with developers on security issues
• Programming experience (C#, Java, or similar)
• Security data analysis

Nice To Have Skills

• Experience working within an ISO 27001 certified organization
• Project management
• Threat hunting
