Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, and maintain a stand-alone cyberspace test range for AF CPL testing.
- Requires specialized experience in evaluating, analyzing, maintaining, managing, or improving cyberspace and unified communication system performance.
- Follow Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
- Administration and configuration of Windows Active Directory with integrated DNS server and domain policies.
- Configuration and administration of Windows 11 workstations and Windows 2022+ Servers.
- Design, implementation, and configuration of physical & virtual networks and associated hardware/software.
- Creation, configuration, and administration of VMware virtual machines.
- Ensures uninterrupted access to all unified communication features in support of T&E efforts.
- Designs, develops, tests, and reports on the operational unified communication software or cyberspace system under test.
- Provides documentation/project tracking and management reporting.
- Provides tactical and strategic input to overall network planning and related projects.
- Reports to a project leader, supervisor, or manager.
- Must be adept at problem solving, identifying risk, and communicating results and recommendations to department management.
- Active DoD TS/SCI Level government clearance in DISS
- Requires a DoD 8140 IAT level II certification or higher
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering Management, or similar with 3+ years of experience.
- Scripting (example: Unix Shell, Windows batch, Windows Script Files, PowerShell, Ansible) to automate software integration and system infrastructure tasks.
- Ixia IxNetwork and traffic generation
- Python automation development
- Wireshark packet analysis
- Linux administration
- TCP/IP and routing knowledge
- API testing and automation
- Cybersecurity fundamentals (PKI, certificates, TLS)
- IPv6 addressing and subnetting
- Neighbor Discovery Protocol (NDP)
- Stateless Address Autoconfiguration (SLAAC)
