Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in vulnerability research, reverse engineering, or related computer security field experience, demonstrated programming proficiency in security-oriented areas, in-depth knowledge of mobile and desktop operating systems, and prior experience leading development teams in a computer security-oriented environment (focused on the Apple iOS, Google Android, and variant operating systems
  • Bachelor's Degree in one of the following areas: Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, Computer Forensics, Information Systems, or other closely related degree.

In This Role, You Will

  • Provide Engineering services to analyze, assess, develop, and deploy vulnerabilities and exploits
  • Conduct development services, as well as associated tasks, necessary to adequately design and deploy vulnerabilities and exploits
  • Accompany Government staff to meetings with external partners offering vulnerabilities and exploits to provide initial technical assessment of these items
  • Attend joint development meetings and workshops with cooperating intelligence services and corporate entities
  • Design and execute reliability, security, and other testing and assessment of vulnerabilities and exploits

The primary work location for the role will be in the Washington Metro Area during the first year, after which the position will transition to Huntsville, Alabama—providing the candidate with an exciting opportunity to experience two vibrant regions and broaden professional horizons.

Desired Skills

  • Demonstrated experience with memory management and threading
  • Demonstrated in-depth experience in tool development and kernel architecture in operating systems such as: Windows, Linux, MacOS, iOS and Android
  • Software development experience including design, implementation, testing, analysis and debugging supporting CNO/CNE.
  • Demonstrated experience performing Software Configuration Management
  • Demonstrated experience writing unit test when developing new software and fixing bugs
