We are seeking a skilled and passionate Data & AI Security Professional to join our team. As a Data & AI Security Professional, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing innovative Data & AI-driven solutions to address complex business challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive actionable insights and enhance decision-making processes.
What You’ll Do
Provide technical leadership in the design and deployment of secure Data & AI architectures across on‑premises and cloud environments
Define, implement and standardize Data & AI security methods, controls and procedures, including automation and system integration
Implement and manage data protection solutions covering discovery, classification, anonymization and encryption
Prepare system security and governance reports, collecting, analysing and summarising data, trends and metrics for operational and project reporting
Troubleshoot complex technical security issues, managing multiple priorities in fast‑paced delivery environments
Partner closely with clients to identify, design and implement the most effective Data & AI security solutions aligned with business and regulatory needsWhat You’ll BringBachelor’s degree in Business IT, Security or a related field (e.g. Business Informatics, Computer Security, ICT & Business, Business Analytics, Data Science or equivalent)
5-10 years of experience in cyber security technical roles, advising on security controls design, implementation and testing
Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Purview (DLP) or equivalent data protection platforms
Strong knowledge in at least one core Data Security domain:
Discovery & Classification (e.g. Microsoft, Varonis, SailPoint)
Data Anonymization (e.g. Microsoft, Thales, IBM)
Data Encryption (e.g. Microsoft, Thales, Gemalto)
Programming knowledge in Python, R, Scala or similar languages
Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving skills, with high attention to detail
Excellent collaboration skills, ideally within global and multi‑functional teams
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Fluency in EnglishLegal: Must own a valid work permit or EU/Schengen Space Nationality to legally work in Portugal.
What Will Set You Apart
Cloud Security (Azure AZ-900, AZ-500, and AWS (Amazon Web Services) Security an advantage)
Data Security related vendor certification(s). (Microsoft, Varonis, SailPoint, etc.)
Hands-on experience in any of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
