Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Regional Public Affairs, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing foodora’s public affairs strategy and campaigns to strengthen foodora’s operating space within the broader public affairs/regulatory environment. Working collaboratively with various business functions in foodora, the successful candidate will be a key contributor in enhancing stakeholder relationships across our Nordic markets and positioning foodora as a trusted and responsible industry player.
Driving initiatives: Develop and implement strategies that advance foodora’s public affairs and policy objectives, which may include drafting of position papers and participation in policy working groups.
Stakeholder management: Build and manage strong relationships with external stakeholders to strengthen foodora’s positioning as a trusted partner, as well as with internal stakeholders to align the company’s positions and actions.
Policy comms: Build and lead efficient policy campaigns to communicate foodora’s policy positions externally.
Market and political/policy insights: Understand and communicate high-level market dynamics and political/policy developments, and their implications for the business, to internal stakeholders through regular reports and updates.
Risk mitigation: Identify public affairs/policy risks to the business early and collaborate with internal teams to address issues before they escalate.
Opportunity identification: Seek collaboration opportunities and foster strategic partnerships that advance our business and policy objectives.
Agency collaboration: Work closely with external agencies to support effective political/policy monitoring and implementation of successful strategies in Norway and Sweden.
Qualifications
7 to 10 years of experience working in government, Public Affairs agencies, public affairs roles in the platform industry, or related fields
Strong knowledge of public policy and regulatory environments in Norway, good knowledge of Sweden’s political environment
Fluent in both English and Norwegian
A self-starter with the ability to work independently and under pressure, in a fast-paced environment
Possess strong judgment and project management skills
Must be able to collaborate and have a harmonious working relationship with diverse teams within the organization
