- Establish and promote secure-by-design principles, patterns, and reference architectures across the organization
- Drive integration of modern and emerging technologies into secure enterprise solutions
- Identify, assess, and communicate security risks, ensuring alignment with organizational risk appetite
- Ensure risks are documented, owned, and managed through remediation or formal acceptance processes
- Provide deep subject matter expertise across security domains including cloud, application and network security; identity and access management; data privacy and protection; and security operations.
- Guide and influence security testing practices, including SAST, DAST, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
- Partner with engineering teams to promote and implement security services and controls
- Translate complex security concepts into clear, actionable business language to influence decision-making
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology leaders, ensuring security is aligned with strategic objectives

- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and security-first thinking
- Multiple years of cybersecurity strategy, architecture, and design experience
- Comprehensive understanding of multiple security domains
- Demonstrated track record of anticipating emerging security threats, technologies, and industry trends, and translating them into actionable strategies.
- Recognized as a security champion who leads through influence - coaching teams, amplifying best practices, and embedding security thinking across technical and business communities.
- Security is proactively embedded into business initiatives rather than retrofitted
- Business leaders clearly understand security risks, tradeoffs, and value
- Engineering teams deliver secure, resilient solutions with minimal friction
- Security capability across the organization is strengthened through mentorship and leadership
