As a Security Analyst, you will play a key role in helping safeguard EROAD’s data, systems, and services. Working as part of our Information Security team, you will support day‑to‑day security operations while contributing to the continuous improvement of our security posture—protecting both our business and our customers.
About The Role
As a Security Analyst, you will work closely with technical and business teams to identify, monitor, and respond to security risks. You will be hands‑on with security tooling, automation, incident response, and compliance activities, while also contributing to broader security initiatives across the organisation.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Build and maintain automation scripts (strong Python skills are essential)
- Monitor vulnerability scanning results, IAM reviews, patch management checks, and blue‑team activities, and work with teams on remediation
- Maintain security documentation, support compliance evidence gathering, and contribute to security maturity assessments
- Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts across XDR, CNAPP, IDS, external scanning, and dark‑web monitoring platforms, including tuning and improving detection capabilities
- Assist with security incident response, from investigation and containment through to post‑incident reviews and reporting
- Respond to client security information requests and questionnaires
- Support security awareness and training initiatives and participate in team‑based improvement activities and security projects as required
- Experience in a security analyst or equivalent technical security role
- Practical experience using Python for automation, with a working understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience working with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) and security frameworks
- Hands‑on experience with security tools such as XDR, vulnerability scanning, and CNAPP
- Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills
- A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and a genuine desire to support and help others
- Relevant security certifications such as Security+, SSCP, CISSP, or actively working towards certification
