In this dynamic environment, we are looking for ambitious and self-driven Data Security Engineers to join our Cyber Security Tech team.
- Implement Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MCAS) to monitor user activities, detect anomalies, and enforce real-time session controls for sanctioned and unsanctioned SaaS applications
- Implement Conditional Access (CA) policies to enforce secure, risk-based access controls across users, devices, and applications
- Develop and maintain security policies and controls across the M365 ecosystem to protect user identities, sensitive data, email communications, and collaboration environments (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams)
- Configure and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection (MIP), sensitivity labels, retention labels, and eDiscovery policies to ensure regulatory compliance and protection of business-critical information
- Collaborate with compliance, legal, and data governance teams to define classification taxonomies and map them to security controls within Microsoft Purview and related E5 capabilities
- Implement and optimize Microsoft 365 E5 security and compliance solution, including Microsoft Defender XDR (Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, Cloud Apps), Microsoft Purview (DLP, Insider Risk, Information Protection), and Entra ID security features
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum three 3 years of experience in security engineering, with hands-on involvement in the deployment and management of Microsoft 365 E5 Security & Compliance features
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 security technologies, including:
- Microsoft Defender XDR suite
- Microsoft Purview (DLP, Information Protection, Insider Risk, Compliance Manager)
- Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) and Conditional Access
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MCAS)
- Experience in data classification, data loss prevention, insider risk management, and regulatory compliance controls using M365
- Understanding of identity and access management, Zero Trust principles, and role-based access control (RBAC)
- Familiarity with cloud-native security operations, Microsoft Secure Score, and M365 service health/performance monitoring
- Certifications are a plus:
- Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, capable of interacting with both technical and business stakeholders
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset
- Strong verbal and writing skills in English and Greek
