Role Description The Sr Cybersecurity Liaison is a full-time role located in MI, responsible for bridging cybersecurity teams with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders across Henry Ford Health. This role focuses on assessing security risks, communicating technical cybersecurity concepts to non-technical audiences, and coordinating responses to security incidents and vulnerabilities affecting applications, networks, and information systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with IT and security teams to implement security controls, supporting security awareness initiatives, and ensuring alignment with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. The Sr Cybersecurity Liaison will participate in security roadmap discussions, support audits and compliance efforts, and provide guidance on secure practices for new projects, technologies, and workflows. This role requires proactive engagement with departments across the organization to strengthen the overall security posture while maintaining efficient, patient-centered operations.
This role will be focused on ZTNA.

Qualifications
- Strong cybersecurity foundation, including experience with Cybersecurity, Cyber risk management, and security governance frameworks.
- Proficiency in Network Security, including secure network design, monitoring, and incident response for enterprise environments.
- Experience in Application Security, including secure software practices, vulnerability identification, and remediation coordination.
- Solid background in Information Security, including data protection, access control, compliance, and policy implementation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+) are highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders and build collaborative relationships.
- Experience working in large, regulated organizations; healthcare or academic medical center experience is a plus.
