About the job

We are looking for a strong Software Engineer who enjoys tackling complex technical problems and building reliable, scalable systems. In this role, you will join a mission-driven team and contribute to the development of our core product and infrastructure as a key individual. You will work across the stack, collaborating closely with product managers and domain experts to design and build systems that are performant, maintainable, and continuously improving.

What you will do

• Architect and implement features for our platform and applications.
• Build scalable backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines that support clinician workflows.
• Take ownership of our codebase, balancing high-quality code, security, and development speed.
• Drive continuous improvement and challenge us, the industry, and yourself.

Who you are

• A passionate engineer with several years of experience building great products using cutting-edge technologies.
• You feel comfortable working across the entire tech stack, with a focus on backend development.
• You require limited guidance to deliver features end-to-end in a fast-paced product environment.
• Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to contribute meaningfully to both technical and product discussions.

Bonus points

• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred, or Azure/GCP) is a big plus.
• Experience with architecture, security, and implementing best practices.
• Experience working with streaming audio, transcription systems, or real-time media pipelines.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks.
