Key Responsibilities
Application Development
- Develop SaaS extension components using Oracle VBCS and APEX
- Create forms, workflows, and dashboards to extend Oracle Cloud ERP capabilities
- Use Oracle JET for modern UI design within VBCS
- Utilize Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for connecting extensions with SaaS APIs
- Consume REST services exposed by Oracle Cloud ERP for real-time data updates
- Write clean and efficient code using JavaScript, SQL, and PL/SQL
- Handle data access securely and efficiently using REST, BIP extracts, or database views
- Conduct unit testing and support system/integration testing
- Maintain documentation for application logic, interface definitions, and deployment procedures
- Implement role-based access control and secure data handling
- Follow Oracle’s SaaS extensibility guidelines to ensure upgrade safety
- 3–5 years of experience in Oracle Cloud ERP/PaaS development
- Hands-on experience with Oracle VBCS, APEX, JavaScript, SQL/PLSQL
- Understanding of REST APIs, SaaS data models, and Oracle integration patterns
- Familiarity with FBDI templates and BI Publisher outputs
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Autonomous DB
- Experience with SaaS modules like Financials, or Procurement
- Knowledge of Oracle JET, Git, and DevOps deployment workflows
