Job Summary
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of property management operations, affordable housing programs, and Yardi Voyager administration. This individual will collaborate across departments to streamline business processes, improve reporting capabilities, and ensure users maximize the value of our technology investments.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration
- Administer and maintain the Yardi Voyager platform and related modules.
- Configure user accounts, roles, security permissions, and workflows.
- Monitor system performance and coordinate software updates, patches, and enhancements.
- Maintain data integrity through regular audits and system maintenance.
User Support & Training
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Yardi-related support requests.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolutions with Yardi Support when necessary.
- Develop user documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing employees.
Business Process Improvement
- Partner with Accounting, Property Management, Compliance, and Leadership to identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies.
- Analyze existing workflows and recommend system improvements.
- Support implementation of new Yardi modules and functionality.
Reporting & Data Management
- Develop, maintain, and enhance operational and financial reports using Yardi reporting tools.
- Assist leadership with dashboard development and performance metrics.
- Ensure accurate data management across properties and portfolios.
Affordable Housing & Compliance Support
- Support system configuration for affordable housing programs including LIHTC, Section 8, PRA, and other subsidized housing programs.
- Ensure system configurations align with HUD, investor, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist compliance teams with reporting and audit preparation.
Integration & Technology Support
- Coordinate integrations between Yardi and third-party applications.
- Assist with data imports, exports, and system conversions.
- Participate in technology initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of Yardi Voyager administration experience.
- Strong understanding of property management and property accounting.
- Experience with security administration, workflows, reporting, and system configuration.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience supporting affordable housing portfolios (LIHTC, Section 8, HUD, PRA).
- Experience with Yardi Procure to Pay, RentCafe, CRM, Payment Processing, or other Yardi modules.
- Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, SSRS, or other business intelligence tools.
- Experience managing software implementations and upgrades.
