Job Summary

Relay Human Cloud is seeking a Yardi Systems Specialist to administer, optimize, and support the Yardi Voyager platform. This role will work closely with Accounting, Property Management, Compliance, and Operations teams to enhance system performance, improve business processes, deliver meaningful reporting, and ensure users maximize the platform's capabilities.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with Yardi Voyager administration, property management operations, and system configuration, along with a passion for process improvement and technology.


Key Responsibilities

Yardi System Administration

  • Administer and maintain the Yardi Voyager platform and associated modules.
  • Configure user accounts, security roles, permissions, workflows, and system settings.
  • Monitor system performance and coordinate software updates, patches, and enhancements.
  • Conduct regular system audits to maintain data integrity and application performance.

User Support & Training

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Yardi-related support and issue resolution.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and collaborate with Yardi Support as needed.
  • Develop user documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
  • Deliver onboarding and ongoing training for business users.

Business Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with Accounting, Property Management, Compliance, and Operations teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
  • Analyze existing workflows and recommend system enhancements.
  • Support implementation and rollout of new Yardi modules and functionality.

Reporting & Data Management

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize operational and financial reports using Yardi reporting tools.
  • Support dashboard development and performance reporting for leadership.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple properties and portfolios.

Affordable Housing & Compliance

  • Configure and maintain Yardi for affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, Section 8, PRA, and other subsidized housing programs.
  • Ensure system configurations comply with HUD, investor, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support compliance reporting, audits, and regulatory submissions.

Integrations & Technology

  • Coordinate integrations between Yardi and third-party applications.
  • Support data imports, exports, migrations, and system conversions.
  • Participate in software implementations, upgrades, and cross-functional technology initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience administering Yardi Voyager.
  • Strong understanding of property management operations and property accounting.
  • Experience with Yardi security administration, workflows, reporting, and system configuration.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting affordable housing portfolios, including LIHTC, Section 8, HUD, and PRA.
  • Experience with Yardi modules such as Procure to Pay, RentCafe, CRM, Payment Processing, or other Yardi products.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, SSRS, or other business intelligence tools.
  • Experience supporting enterprise software implementations and system upgrades.
