Software Development Engineer

Location: Taipei, Taiwan

Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate card personalization applications for Banking & Payment Services business line.
• Support Thales Personalization Bureau on application deployment and testing activities.
• Support Thales Personalization Bureau on application related operational issues.
• Work with Technical Consultants to gather application requirements.
• Manage project tasks to ensure on-time deliveries and quality of project deliverables
• Prepare and update project related documentation according to Thales internal process.
• Develop tools and policies to enhance current process for continuous improvement of efficiency and productivity
• Development of pre-perso and full perso solutions

Required Education:

• Have a bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Working Experience:

• 3-5 years of working experience in software development
• With smart card background or knowledge in smart card APDUs is preferred

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Javascripts, SQL and Python
• Familiarity with C/C++ and Oracle Database is preferred

Personnel Skills:

• Self-reliant, conscientious and accountable

Language:

• Fluent in English
