Odoo Developer

Position Overview:

Our client is looking for an Odoo Developer to support the design, customization, integration, and maintenance of Odoo-based business applications. This role is suitable for a developer who is comfortable working with Odoo modules, Python, PostgreSQL, and business process requirements in collaboration with functional consultants and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules based on business and functional requirements.
• Work with functional consultants to translate user requirements into technical solutions.
• Customize workflows, reports, forms, menus, access rights, and business logic within Odoo.
• Build integrations between Odoo and third-party applications or external systems when required.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, testing, and performance optimization for Odoo applications.
• Support data migration, deployment, documentation, and post-implementation issue resolution.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and users to ensure successful delivery and user adoption.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience as an Odoo Developer or similar ERP/application developer role.
• Strong knowledge of Python and Odoo framework development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and QWeb reporting.
• Understanding of Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, Manufacturing, HR, or related business applications.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and develop clean, maintainable technical solutions.
• Experience with API integration, data migration, Git/version control, and deployment practices is preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and functional teams.
