Responsibilities
- Analyze business processes and operational requirements to develop effective system solutions.
- Design user-friendly interfaces and system functionality that meet business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Evaluate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex business system issues.
- Develop functional specifications and detailed system requirements documentation.
- Configure application settings, system tables, and business process workflows.
- Perform application setup, maintenance, and enhancements according to organizational policies and procedures.
- Lead system implementation efforts and ensure successful deployment of new functionality.
- Support strategic system roadmaps and integration initiatives.
- Create comprehensive test plans and test scripts.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), system testing, and integration testing.
- Validate system performance and ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
- Develop end-user documentation and training materials tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Conduct training sessions for super-users and key stakeholders.
- Facilitate smooth system transitions and promote user adoption.
- Provide ongoing application support, issue analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimization.
- Manage high-priority incidents and coordinate resolution efforts.
- Participate in on-call support rotation and provide after-hours support when necessary.
- Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance and technical direction.
- Collaborate with executives, managers, subject matter experts, vendors, and third-party representatives.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining high-quality results.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 7 years of gaming systems support experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting or administering IGT Advantage systems preferred.
- Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with SSRS Reporting Services or similar reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of system integrations and full software development lifecycle methodologies.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strategic system planning and roadmap development experience.
- Advanced product and application management expertise.
- Experience working in highly regulated environments.
- Strong customer service orientation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Ability to travel occasionally, including overnight travel.
- Availability to provide after-hours and weekend support as needed.
- Participation in an on-call support rotation.
- Possession of a smartphone to maintain communication availability.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required gaming licenses and regulatory approvals.
