Hexa Consulting is looking for a Middle+ / Senior OutSystems Developer to join our Client's team in a hybrid work model from Lisbon or Porto.


Job Details: Lisbon / Porto, Portugal | Hybrid, 2x/3x per week in the office


Mandatory Requirements:

  • Senior-level professional experience in OutSystems development for scalable and high-performance applications.
  • Strong experience with OutSystems Reactive Web, Mobile and Traditional Web.
  • Experience working with OutSystems 11 and OutSystems Developer Cloud.
  • Ability to design and evolve OutSystems software architecture for business-critical applications.
  • Experience defining, optimising and implementing reusable patterns, code and custom components.
  • Experience integrating applications with APIs and web services using REST and SOAP.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, database modelling and database optimisation.
  • Experience with LifeTime and Service Center to support automation and DevOps practices.
  • Ability to contribute to system integration and legacy application modernisation initiatives.
  • Strong autonomy in analysing technical challenges and designing effective solutions.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality and delivery.
  • Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Clear problem-framing, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Professional working proficiency in English, B2 level.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience in technology migration projects.
  • Knowledge of architecture and component reusability best practices.
  • Awareness of quality management, information security and cybersecurity best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable and high-performance applications using OutSystems Reactive Web, Mobile and Traditional Web.
  • Design and evolve OutSystems software architecture for business-critical applications.
  • Optimise, maintain and reuse code, patterns and custom components.
  • Integrate applications with APIs and web services using REST and SOAP.
  • Model and optimise databases and SQL structures.
  • Support automation and DevOps practices using LifeTime and Service Center.
  • Apply UX and UI best practices to improve business application usability.
  • Contribute to system integration initiatives and legacy application modernisation.
  • Adapt and transform OutSystems 11 applications to OutSystems Developer Cloud.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable solutions within agreed timelines.


Compensation Transparency

Base salary range: EUR 14,000 - EUR 36,000 gross/year

Total compensation: up to EUR 43,000/year

The salary range is based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including required competencies, professional experience, level of responsibility and role requirements. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate's profile and position requirements.
