Back End Integration Developer - GIS Systems - Hybrid 3 days pw in office - 12 Month Contract - Mining

I am exclusively partnered with a leading consultancy who are looking for a Back End Integration Developer to start immediately on an initial 12 month contract with high possibility of extension.

You will be integrating the new GIS platform with existing SAP systems and mobile apps using Microsoft Azure. Developing with React, .net to build scalable secure API's

Looking for someone to start immediately, interviews will be two stages and begin next week with the end client

What You Will Be Doing:

• Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Build and manage scalable APIs and event-driven workflows to integrate mobile apps, backend systems, and enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP).
• Develop and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines within cloud environments.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end integration solutions.
• Ensure secure and compliant data exchange across cloud and on-prem systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations; support production environments and continuous improvement efforts.

What You Bring:

• Ability to code with React, .Net, Azure services
• GIS Experience or mine planning experience (Highly Regarded)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services including API Management, Logic Apps, and Function Apps
• Background in API development, event-driven architectures, and secure data exchange
• Experience integrating enterprise systems such as SAP via middleware/cloud platforms
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation
• Experience supporting mobile app backend integrations and data synchronization (offline-first applications)
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
