About Us

We've been building sites with our proprietary CMS for over 10 years. Our main focus has always been SEO and our CMS is built with SEO from the ground up.

With hundreds of sites in our portfolio we build and maintain websites for clients in almost every industry.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for Laravel expert who can rebuild the front-end of our CMS to use Tailwind, including eCommerce. Most of the work will revolve around adding new features or improving existing features in the CMS. Occasionally, we may have some non-CMS tasks for one of our clients.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in refactoring code. Since we're in this for the long haul, we're looking for someone who can build code that's clear, easy to change and maintainable over a long period of time.

A huge plus would be someone who has experience writing tests for an existing applications. We currently only have a small number of tests that cover a few features but are looking to expand our testing suite.

About You

You're motivated and driven to solve problems and come up with creative solutions given the time and resources.

You're also okay being autonomous. We scope out work and assign it to developers, but within those tasks you'll have to prioritize what you'll do. We'll always be available for guidance if things are not clear.

Although we value skill and expertise, what's more important to us is someone who can continually deliver in a dynamic environment. We're still figuring our processes and systems so you'll have to be willing to shift gears rapidly as we smooth out our development process.

Work Environment

When and where you work is flexible. However, we do want someone who's at least in one of the North American timezones.

Most communication happens through Github issues, Slack and email.

Occasionally, we'll jump on a video call if necessary.

We're looking for at least 5 years of experience in the following.

Compensation

$40k - $120k / year
