About the Role
We are looking for a highly capable Senior Software Engineer to help scale Xpanner’s US operations.
In this role, you will serve as a key technical bridge between US customers, operations, and our engineering team in Korea. You will focus on production reliability, operational stability, and real-world customer support while contributing directly to customer deployments and helping establish the foundation for Xpanner’s future US engineering presence.

What You’ll Do
- Own production reliability, operational stability, and incident response for Xpanner’s platform in the US market
- Support real-world customer deployments and troubleshoot production issues in collaboration with Korea-based engineering teams
- Serve as the key technical bridge between US customers, operations, and Korea-based engineering teams
- Translate customer requirements, field feedback, and operational issues into clear technical input and product improvements
- Lead US-specific integrations, feature enhancements, and platform improvements as the business grows
- Build tooling, automation, and scalable operational processes to support Xpanner’s expanding US presence
- Help establish scalable engineering and operational practices as Xpanner expands its US presence
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience owning, operating, troubleshooting, and improving production software systems
- Strong backend, platform, or full-stack engineering experience
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, monitoring, release validation, CI/CD, and incident response
- Professional proficiency in both Korean and English, with the ability to collaborate daily with Korea-based engineering teams and communicate effectively with US stakeholders
- Ability to translate customer issues, field feedback, and operational needs into clear technical requirements
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and cross-cultural environments
- Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of software development experience, especially in production support, reliability engineering, or platform operations
- Experience in cross-border engineering collaboration, customer-facing engineering, technical operations, or solutions engineering roles
- Familiarity with one or more of the following domains: construction technology, robotics, industrial automation, IoT, or heavy equipment
- Experience with AWS, observability and monitoring systems, CI/CD pipelines, incident management, system integration, or customer-specific deployments
- Experience helping establish engineering practices, operational processes, or technical support structures in a growing market
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
