Application Developer

One of our Federal Government Clients is seeking to engage a IT Application Developer. This is a long-term contractual position.

Contract Duration: 04 Years (36 months initially + 12 months extension)

Work Location: Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane (03 Days office/02 Days home per week)

Eligibility: You must need to have Baseline Security Clearance or above.

Position Description:

• Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors moderately complex programs and scripts, including troubleshooting defects, fixing bugs and addressing build and runtime issues.
• Applies agreed standards and tools to achieve well-engineered results, resolving code, integration, and environment-related issues encountered during development and testing.
• Conducts unit and integration testing, investigates test failures and implements fixes.
• Supports deployments by resolving minor release issues and assisting with rollback activities where required.
• Collaborates in reviews of work with others as appropriate, identifying defects, improving code quality and resolving issues raised during peer review.
