Software Engineer 2

We are seeking Software Engineers to design, develop, test, deploy, document, maintain, and enhance complex software systems supporting a secure, large-scale, multi-tenant Linux computing environment. These systems include high-performance compute platforms, distributed data processing pipelines, workflow orchestration services, operational data flows, and full-stack web applications that manage access to enterprise resources. Work may involve processing-intensive analytics, automation tooling, containerized microservices, real-time systems, data repositories, and platform integrations. Engineers work independently or as part of Agile teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions supporting mission-critical workloads.
The Software Engineer Level 2 Core Responsibilities
- Experience with developing or working with software in a LINUX environment
- Experience with C++ and Java programming languages
- Experience with the following scripting languages, including Shell, JavaScript, Bash, or Python
- Experience in network programming, including socket development or IP based applications
- Experience with Git
- Exposure to Docker
- Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of experience with software engineering
- 19+ years of experience with software engineering in lieu of a degree
- US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance required

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
