Are you an Embedded Software Engineer looking to work on complex products used across film, broadcast and live events?

I'm working with a leading US technology manufacturer developing professional audio and RF products used in demanding, real-world environments. They're looking to add an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to their growing engineering team.

This is a hands-on role where you'll develop embedded software, work closely with hardware and FPGA engineers, and help bring new products from concept through to production.

What you'll be doing

• Developing embedded software in C and C++
• Working with Embedded Linux and RTOS-based systems
• Designing and debugging low-level embedded software
• Developing device drivers and hardware interfaces
• Working alongside hardware and FPGA engineers
• Supporting board bring-up, integration and testing
• Improving software performance and reliability
• Contributing throughout the full product development lifecycle

What we're looking for

• Commercial Embedded Software development experience
• Strong C and C++ programming skills
• Experience with Embedded Linux and/or RTOS
• Knowledge of embedded hardware and communication protocols such as SPI, I2C and UART
• Experience debugging embedded systems

Nice to have

• FPGA experience
• Audio, RF or signal processing experience
• Device driver or bootloader development
• Experience using oscilloscopes, logic analysers or JTAG tools
