We are looking for the next Vigilante to join our time! Are you fluent in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Laravel, and React? Do you love building web applications and websites? If so, this position might be a great fit for you.

As a Developer at VM, you’ll build, maintain, and optimize the technical infrastructure behind our client-facing digital solutions. You’ll work closely with designers, marketers, and project managers to develop responsive websites, integrate powerful marketing tools, and enhance digital experiences.

Required Skills

  • Experience & Portfolio: 2+ years in web development with a proven track record/portfolio.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • PHP & Laravel
    • JavaScript (React)
    • WordPress & eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace)
  • API & Integration: Skilled in API development and integration with third-party platforms.
  • UX/UI & SEO: Strong understanding of user experience best practices, SEO principles, and accessibility standards.
  • Version Control & Workflows: Familiarity with Git, agile methodologies, and deployment processes.
Nice To Have

  • Marketing Automation & CRM: Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM integrations, or data analytics platforms.
  • AI & Machine Learning: Interest or background in AI, machine learning, or automation in marketing.
  • Additional Soft Skills: High adaptability, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Duties Would Include

Web Development & CMS Management

  • Develop responsive, high-performance websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Laravel, React.
  • Implement and maintain various CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace) and custom solutions.
  • Ensure optimal user experience (UX) and adherence to accessibility standards.

API & Third-Party Integrations

  • Integrate CRMs, analytics, marketing automation platforms, and payment gateways.
  • Develop and maintain APIs for seamless data exchange.

Performance Optimization & Quality Assurance

  • Optimize website speed, scalability, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Conduct unit, functional, and user acceptance testing.

Innovation & Continuous Learning

  • Stay current with emerging web development trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Experiment with new frameworks and methodologies to improve development efficiency.
  • Contribute to the agency’s internal knowledge base and thought leadership.
