About The Position

We are looking for a creative and hands-on AI Innovation Engineer to join a growing international team and help drive practical AI adoption across software engineering and development processes.

In this role, you will focus on rapid experimentation, AI-powered application development, and implementation of modern AI tools and workflows. You will collaborate closely with engineering and delivery teams to prototype innovative solutions and promote AI-driven ways of working across the organization.

What You Will Do

• Develop rapid prototypes and AI-powered applications using modern AI tools and frameworks
• Design and optimize prompt engineering solutions for LLM-based systems
• Build and experiment with AI-driven frontend and backend solutions
• Support adoption of AI coding assistants and modern development workflows
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams on internal and client-facing innovation initiatives
• Explore and evaluate new AI technologies, tools, and practical implementation approaches
• Conduct exploratory analysis and experimentation related to software engineering data and processes
• Prototype and validate AI/ML concepts when applicable
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
• Work in a fast-paced environment with evolving technologies and requirements

What We Expect

• 3+ years of experience in software development
• 1+ years of experience in AI engineering, or related roles
• Strong Java or Python skills; experience with both is preferred, or a willingness to learn the second language
• Experience building software applications and APIs; Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools
• Understanding of modern software development practices and workflows
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and experimentation mindset
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken

It’s a Plus If You

• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow;
• Practical experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-powered development tools;
• Experience with Angular or React;
• Experience with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, or LightGBM;
• Experience with AWS Bedrock;
• Experience with Ollama or local LLM deployment;
• Java programming experience;
• Background in software engineering research;
• Statistical modeling or advanced data analysis experience;
• Experience implementing ideas from research papers;
• Experience with Docker containerization;
• Understanding of AI model capabilities and limitations.

The gross salary in this position is 2900-4200 EUR/month. Keep in mind that we are open to discussing a different salary based on your skills and competencies.
