We are currently seeking a motivated, enthusiastic Systems Engineer interested in designing, integrating, tuning, and commissioning advanced ATM systems as part of our Automation and Surveillance team. This position offers opportunities to travel internationally, acquire a diverse range of practical engineering experience, and interact with customers around the world.
This hybrid position is located at our East Syracuse, NY, office.
Job Responsibilities may include:
- Predictive Modelling, Analysis, and Design of sensor networks
- Development of System Architectures to meet customer requirements
- System-level Integration and Test
- Performance Analysis and Optimization of installed systems
- Troubleshooting and resolving system anomalies.
- Writing technical documentation, including Test Procedures, Test Reports, Architecture Documents, and Analysis Reports
- Coordination with internal stakeholders for project planning and execution (including PMs, CM, QA, Production, and Product Development teams)
- Interfacing directly with customers to understand requirements, develop solutions, and demonstrate compliance
- Contributing to process improvements by developing or enhancing documentation, procedures, tools, etc.

Skills and Experience:
Typical Education and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, physics or computer science from an accredited institution or relevant military education & training
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- The ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- A detail-orientation with strong organizational and time-management skills
- The technical background to learn the theory of operation, design, and optimization processes for ATM surveillance and automation systems
- The ability to understand customer requirements and develop system-level architectures and integration & test strategies to ensure these requirements are satisfied
- The ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) and collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues and customers.
- An interest in international travel and the ability to work with technical counterparts from different countries and cultures around the world
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with IP networks
- Opportunity for international travel (up to 25%)
