Lockheed Martin Space in Huntsville, AL is seeking a full-time Software Engineer. In this role, you will be working with experienced engineers, you will support the software engineering lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP) to include requirements analysis, integration, and support to formal test/delivery. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of operating system configuration. Must be a US Citizen ; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Candidate will support development of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Software within the Ground component as a member of the THAAD Planner (TP) Team. The candidate must coordinate with other groups within Ground Systems to ensure a successful implementation/configuration of the software. The candidate must ensure adherence to master plans and schedules. The candidate must function well in a creative, high-tempo, collaborative, cross-functional, dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment. Candidate should be self-motivated, inquisitive, conscientious, and detail oriented.
