Technical Sr Developer: Guidewire InsuranceNow (ACX)

Core Responsibilities

Serve as a Senior InsuranceNow developer responsible for developing and supporting InsuranceNow configurations and customizations. Collaborate with cross functional teams in developing and delivering changes requested.

Technical

  • Serve as the technical developer for all ACX INOW configuration and enhancements
  • Lead configuration and implementation of rate filings, product versions, and underwriting rule changes, claims and billing updates
  • Provide analysis and solutioning for new features and system enhancements
  • Ensure solutions align with architecture, security, and integration standards
  • Own technical quality across development lifecycle

InsuranceNow Expertise

  • Deep hands-on configuration within Guidewire InsuranceNow (ACX)
  • Experience with:
    • Claims and Billing
    • Ratebook & pricing configuration
    • Product model changes
    • State-specific filings
    • Business rules and forms configuration
  • Ability to assess impacts of product changes across jurisdictions
Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with:
    • Product Management & Business Analysts
    • Business stakeholders
    • QA & Release Management
    • Architecture & Security
  • Translate business requirements into technically sound configurations
  • Challenge unclear requirements with confidence and clarity
Delivery & Quality Ownership

  • Review designs, configuration changes, and code
  • Guide defect remediation strategy
  • Support UAT and production readiness
  • Ensure release quality and stability
  • Establish and enforce unit testing standards for all relevant code changes

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between CAD 74,000 - CAD 117,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
