myMechanic is hiring: Integration & Technical Customer Onboarding Specialist

myMechanic is building the first agnostic maintenance ecosystem for commercial trucking. We connect fleets, drivers, and service providers for roadside emergency repair across 50 states. Think of us as the digital layer replacing phone calls and fax machines in a $35B+ industry.

We're looking for someone who can own the technical bridge between myMechanic and our enterprise partners and their partners. You'll build and manage API integrations with fleet management systems, telematics platforms, and tire/service networks while making sure new customers go live smoothly.

What you'll do:

Build and maintain REST API integrations with partners. Lead technical onboarding for enterprise fleet accounts, getting them from signed contract to live on the platform. Work directly with our engineering team to scope integration requirements, write API documentation, and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Be the technical point of contact for partners during and after onboarding. Identify opportunities to automate the onboarding process and reduce time-to-live.

What we're looking for:

STATESIDE in USA. Experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, and OAuth flows. Comfortable reading and writing code (Node.js/TypeScript preferred, but Python or similar works). Background in logistics, fleet management, telematics, or transportation technology is a strong plus. You've done customer-facing technical work before, whether that's solutions engineering, technical account management, or implementation consulting. You can explain technical concepts to non-technical fleet managers and translate business requirements into API specs. Self-starter who thrives in a small team environment where you own your work end to end.

Nice to have:

Experience with MongoDB, Express, Fleet telematics, Docker, Fleet maintenance software, etc. Familiarity with VMRS codes or commercial vehicle service workflows. Previous startup experience. Ability to travel for onsite visits (not required)

About myMechanic:

We're a startup processing thousands of service events monthly. Based in Greenville, SC but open to remote (stateside) for the right person. You'll work directly with the CEO and engineering leads on integrations that directly drive revenue and partner adoption.

In Conclusion: You'll join at a moment where every integration you ship directly unlocks revenue. This isn't a support role. You'll be one of the most impactful people at the company.
