Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

  • Strong proficiency in core Java development and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with the Apache Struts framework for web application maintenance and support.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and maintaining scripts using Java script, Perl and PHP.
  • Perform maintenance and updates on legacy PowerBuilder applications, including DataWindow modifications and PowerScript debugging
  • Migration of legacy PowerBuilder applications to Java-based platforms
  • Proficiency in DB2 and MariaDB that includes writing complex queries, Schema and Data modeling, Application integrations and Database migration
  • Experience with Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools.
  • Good understanding of cloud technologies

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Level 2 and Level 3 Application support
  • Coordinate with the Offshore team.
  • Focus on preventing failures through Automated monitoring and alerts.
  • Communicating the status of critical incidents and resolution timelines to customer
  • Identify Business opportunities and suggest solutions
  • Documenting complex fixes and maintaining a centralized knowledge base
  • Application Outage management, Automation & Ticket elimination Strategy

Base Salary Range : $85,000 to $100,000 Per Annum
