We're looking for an innovative developer to join our team and play a pivotal role in leveraging the exciting synergy born from the Altair acquisition! Your role will be to strategically integrate and expand the capabilities of Simcenter Compose (formerly Altair Compose), our robust math and scripting application, across a wider array of Siemens applications and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the integration strategy for selected applications in conjunction with those development teams
- Collaborate with those teams to design and develop new API’s in Compose to facilitate this integration
- Create new toolboxes in Compose to provide access to selected functionalities
- Create and implement regression tests for this newly added functionality
- Contribute to extended use of AI techniques within the product
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of development experience with C/C++.
- Strong understanding of scripted languages such as Python, Matlab, Octave, and Julia.
- Experience with cross-programming between C/C++ and an Interpreted language (e.g. Python)
- Familiarity with computational libraries such as MKL or BLAS/LAPACK is a strong plus
- Familiarity with AI concepts, in particular MCP servers is a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- The ability to understand a large existing codebase is fundamental.
- Some source code revision control experience (e.g. git)

Compensation & Benefits
The primary locations for this opportunity are Greece, Romania, Spain and Hungary. The applicable salary ranges for these locations are:.
€32,100 - €64,200 (Greece)
RON 186,000 – RON 353,300 (Romania)
HUF 12,761,500 – HUF 22,332,500 (Hungary)
EUR 52,100 - EUR 83,300 (Spain)
This role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
