Senior Backend Engineer

Role Overview:

You'll join as a Senior Backend Engineer, building the systems that process, enrich, and match millions of data records. Working within a highly technical engineering team, you'll help shape the data platform powering critical decisions for manufacturers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance backend services using Kotlin and other JVM technologies
• Develop scalable data processing and ETL solutions
• Contribute to matching algorithms and data enrichment capabilities
• Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and search technologies to support platform growth
• Drive technical decisions and contribute to architectural improvements
• Collaborate across engineering and product teams to deliver high-impact solutions

Requirements:

• Strong experience with JVM technologies such as Kotlin, Java, or Scala
• Proven experience building large-scale data processing or ETL systems
• Experience working with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch or similar search technologies
• Strong understanding of scalable backend architecture and system design
• Experience leading technical initiatives or providing technical direction
• Background in data-intensive software products or platforms
