Role:

  • We are hiring a software engineer to support and improve business-critical applications in a live production environment.
  • This is not a ticket-routing support role. You will investigate production issues, debug Node.js code, troubleshoot APIs and containerised services, and take ownership of incidents through resolution, validation, and root-cause prevention.
  • The role is suitable for software engineers who want broader production ownership, as well as application support engineers who have strong coding and technical troubleshooting experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Investigate production incidents across application code, configuration, APIs, integrations, and deployment environments.
  • Diagnose and fix defects in Node.js applications.
  • Troubleshoot REST APIs, microservices, message queues, and external-system integrations.
  • Review logs, alerts, dashboards, and performance data to identify the cause of application issues.
  • Work with developers, QA engineers, infrastructure teams, and system engineers.


Required Skills:

  • 2 years of relevant experience in software engineering, application support, or production support, or equivalent demonstrated capability.
  • Hands-on experience developing and debugging Node.js applications.
  • Practical experience resolving production incidents and software defects.
  • Able to participate in scheduled standby, overtime, or shift support arrangements.
