Software Engineer - Product

HeyMax turns everyday spend into Max Miles that people redeem for flights, hotels, and more. We connect banks, merchants, and loyalty programs into one place where miles are earned and used — and we're a small team building the rails that make it work across markets.

The Role

You'll build products, end to end — shipping features that drive how people earn, redeem, and how HeyMax grows into new markets. From partner integrations to the flows users touch, you own what you build: idea to ship, then iterate.

What You'll Do

• Ship features across the stack, from partner APIs to user-facing earn/redeem flows
• Build integrations that bring new partners — and new markets — onto the platform
• Take features from first commit to live: system design, build, test, launch, iterate
• Keep things clean: solid APIs, sane webhooks, docs people can actually follow
• Work directly with product, design, and commercial — small team, tight loops

• 2–4 yrs building backend-leaning full-stack software
• Comfortable with REST APIs and webhooks; OAuth a plus
• Strong ownership — you drive things to done without being chased
• You think about the user, not just the endpoint
• Bias to ship — pragmatic over perfect
• Data skills a plus (working with product/analytics data)
• Clear, low-ego communicator
