Full-Stack Software Engineer — Django

We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the Autobia team. This role works across a Python/Django codebase with a strong backend lean most of your time on services, data, and integrations, while comfortably handling the front end when the feature needs it. The Marketplace is customer-facing, so fast, low-latency API response times are a core goal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, ship, and operate Django backend services and full-stack features.
• Own your work end to end: design, implementation, testing, deployment, production support.
• Build and maintain integrations with internal and external services.
• Write clear, maintainable code and contribute to the squad's technical decisions.

Qualifications:

• Mid–senior full-stack engineer, backend-strong, with solid Python / Django experience.
• 3–5 years of professional full-stack experience.
• Strong fundamentals: API design, data modeling, relational databases, testing.
• Comfortable across the stack — can build and debug front-end features when needed.
• Performance-minded: keeps API response times low through query tuning, caching, and profiling.
• Ownership mindset: takes a problem from ambiguity to shipped and supported.

Nice to Have:

• B2B marketplace, catalog/matching, or supplier-integration experience.
• Experience operating high-reliability systems at scale.
• Knowing PostgreSQL is a plus.
• As a full-stack role, knowing React is a plus.
• Experience with GKE or AWS is a plus.
