Senior Software Applications Developer

Location: San Fernando Valley, CA (Hybrid/Onsite)

Compensation: Up to $105,000 annually


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Applications Developer to support the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise business applications. This role is responsible for managing the full software development lifecycle, partnering with business stakeholders to identify technology solutions, and delivering applications that improve operational efficiency and business performance.


The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, experience working with enterprise systems, and the ability to lead projects from concept through deployment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements to identify automation opportunities and process improvements.
  • Perform workflow analysis and recommend technology solutions that improve efficiency and quality.
  • Design and develop complex applications, systems, and database solutions.
  • Create technical specifications, test plans, and implementation documentation.
  • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and system integrations.
  • Monitor application performance and implement enhancements as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and support materials.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and contribute to development standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with business users, subject matter experts, and technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Lead projects and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Participate in an on-call support rotation when required.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of software development or application development experience.
  • Experience managing projects from requirements gathering through implementation and support.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience designing and developing multi-tier enterprise applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading projects and collaborating across departments.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Expertise in one or more ERP development languages.
  • Experience with multiple programming languages, enterprise databases, and system integrations.
  • Knowledge of ERP modules and enterprise application architecture.
